Discover San Miniato

In 2003 Concetta and Gerardo bought a house in the countryside of San Miniato. An ideal place to spend their free time in nature. It took not even a year that the passion for the land awoke in the family the dream to give new life to the small agricultural holding belonging to the estate. The first wine-making in 2004 led to the creation of San Miniatello, the first Agrisole wine. It’s a Chianti wine that indelibly binds the grapes with their origin.
In the following years, the company dedicated itself to the research of new grape varieties and processing methods reinforcing more and more the idea that every Agrisole wine bottle can and should represent the territory and the great environmental heritage of the hills of San Miniato.
The company expanded gradually when in 2011 Federico, youngest son of Concetta and from begin at her side, decided, thanks to his matured experience and to his studies in Oenology, to give life to an ambitious project together with the oenologist Emiliano Falsini: to focus on the exclusive use and exploitation of native wines, since they had been always present in these vineyards.
This is the philosophy with which Concetta, Federico and since 2014 also Fabio, the other son of the family Caputo, devotes themselves each day to the care for the company. The goal is not to make the best wines in the world, but authentic wines that express the essence and quality of the territory.
